- Ideally suited for lesser dust load and where the lateral / radial thermal movements are less than 35 mm.
- In case of extreme exigencies, these designs could be offered with bolsters even for high dust load applications.
- However in this design the fabric is tough to replace without dismantling the expansion joint in case of extreme exigencies like change in process parameters.
